Dono Dono

Donovan Duvall aka Dono Dono, has released a new dreamy single voicing the struggle with a complicated relationship. A variety of lush synth tones emerge together introducing a modern synth-pop sound.

In this song, every moment brings something fresh, from subtle variations in the main melody to unexpected key switches and beat changes. It keeps things interesting and shows how much creativity went into it. You can tell a lot of thought went into creating this song because of all the little details.

Also, lyrically it's a reflection of someone who is torn between wanting to be with their partner and feeling the pain of what’s going on. It's for someone who knows deep down that things aren't right, even though they're trying to convince themselves otherwise.

Let us cover a bit about Donovan. Donovan Duvall has been passionate about music since he was a kid in Northern Virginia, near DC. He started with percussion in the school orchestra at eight, but things really took off when he got his first drum set at twelve.

Throughout high school and college, he played in various bands and fell in love with production and beat-making, thanks to his sister's influence with electro-house music. He studied Jazz Percussion and Performance at Guilford College, where he polished his skills and dived into beat-making.

Dono Dono's music is hard to pin down to one genre, drawing inspiration from a wide range of artists like Daft Punk, Led Zeppelin, D'Angelo, Radiohead, Disclosure, Tame Impala, and Chick Corea.
